Host a Fundraiser
Purchasing and transporting a library is a huge cost. Rather than fundraise the entire amount ourselves, we are asking for individuals / groups / families to commit to fundraising a set amount of $500-$1,000. This gives you the opportunity to use your (groups) particular skills and interests. Imagine, if only two dozen people committed to raising $1000 we would surpass our goals immediately!
Donate Now
Although donations of quality, books in excellent condition are appreciated, we are at the point where we need funds to cover logistical costs. Sorting through donations is time consuming (We've already spent nearly 20hrs doing it!).
We have also negotiated a deep discount with a bookseller meaning, we can make your donations go further than your purchase of a lone book.
Fundraising Ideas
Here are a few ideas of how you, your family, or a group of friends could help to raise funds:

Host an art gala

Ask local artisans to donate artwork (photographs, jewellery, ceramics, paintings, etc.) and host an evening of nibbles and shopping.

Get your children involved:

Once a week sell their baked goods in your office break room

Advertise a neighbourhood carwash where your children help wash/vacuum the cars​​

Encourage them to sell their unused toys on Facebook Marketplace and donate the profits

Have your teens offer to mow lawns/rake leaves​​

Have a garage sale and donate the profits

Host an Event Night ​

This could be a talent night, trivia, scavenger hunt, or more. Charge ahead for tickets to come, then speak on the night about the Cush Library and direct them to the GoFundMe site.​

Host an exclusive High Tea or Dinner​ and charge for tickets
